Is Levitra the Best Male Enhancement for ED?

Levitra is an erectile dysfunction (ED) prescription medicine. Males who are in-taking nitrate drugs, often used to control chest pain, are advised not to take Levitra. Such combinations could drop blood pressure to an un-safe level. As with all ED drugs, there is an unusual risk of an erection lasting longer than four hours or more.

Levitra Ingredients

LEVITRA is administered orally for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. This mono hydrochloride salt of “Vardenafil” is a selective inhibitor of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP)-specific phos-phodiesterase type 5 (PDE5).
Vardenafil HCl is labeled chemically as piperazine, 1-[[3-(1,4-dihydro-5-methyl-4-oxo-7-propylimidazo[5,1-f ][1,2,4]triazin-2-yl)-4-ethoxyphenyl] sulfonyl]-4-ethyl-, mono hydrochloride.

What is Levitra & How it works?

Levitra is a round shaped orange tablet, which is absorbed orally and is available in three compositions - 5mg, 10mg and 20mg. For Levitra to be operative, sexual stimulus is essential and so Levitra will not create an erection unless a man engages in sexually encounter.

Levitra works by helping the blood vessels to the penis and thus increases flow of blood. This aids to create and maintain an erection. This improved blood flow is attained by relaxing the blood vessels that supply blood to the penis.

How Levitra work may vary from individual to individual, but on an average it takes around 25 minutes to one hour although some men may achieve an erection within 20 minutes. After taking this pill an erection may occur in response to sexual stimulation. Levitra does not generally affect by in-taking before the treatment (except where the meal has a high fat content) or by consuming alcohol.
